Council is committed to working with community and local/regional organisations to ensure the places where people live, work, learn, socialise and play are safer, more inclusive, respectful and equitable.

This Equity & Respect Resource was purchased with grant funding from Respect Victoria, and the promotion and launch was delivered as part of the Victorian Government’s Free from Violence Local Government Grant Program 2024-2027. This Program supports local councils to embed gender equality and family violence prevention practices into their workplace, programs, services and the activities they deliver to the community.
