Are you in Year 9–11 and live or study in the Macedon Ranges?

We’re looking for young people to join our brand-new Mental Health Action Group!

In 2026, we’re creating something new — a mental health program shaped by young people, for young people. This group is your chance to share what life is really like as a teenager in the Macedon Ranges, talk about what supports actually help, and help design ideas and activities that make a difference for other young people.

Your voice matters. You’re the expert in what it’s like to be a teenager right now, and we want your ideas, experiences and opinions to guide what this program looks like. Whether you’re passionate about mental health, curious to learn more, or just want to help improve things for other young people, there’s a place for you.

Before signing up, you’re welcome to come along to an online information session on Wednesday 11 March 2026, from 6-7pm. You can join to hear more about what the group involves, ask questions, and see if it feels right for you. Parents and carers are also welcome to attend.

What will be covered at the information session?

We’ll walk through what being part of the Mental Health Action Group involves, including:

  • How much time the group will take and what participation looks like
  • When and where meetings will be held
  • Whether parent or guardian permission is needed
  • What you’ll gain from being involved
  • Whether there are any paid opportunities
  • The next steps to officially join the group

After the presentation, there’ll be plenty of time to ask questions — for both young people and parents or carers.

Register to attend the information session, or sign up to join our new Mental Health Action Group by completing the form below!
